When normalizing the vector components you divide by
(m21-m12)^2+(m02-m20)^2+(m10-m01)^2

Since the magnitude of the vector is the *square root* of this quantity, it seems to me that you should divide by
sqrt[(m21-m12)^2+(m02-m20)^2+(m10-m01)^2]
Yes?
